Neurobehavioral Services

Nexus Specialty Hospital offers patients a neuro intensive care unit overseen by our multidisciplinary team consisting of neurologists, psychiatrists, and psychologists. With skills specific to neurological impairments, our team assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients that have challenges managing their behavior and impulses.

Admitting patients as early as they are stable enough to leave a trauma center is crucial to our care model. Getting patients to our ICU allows us to perform early interventions, identifying and treating conditions that would otherwise go unnoticed and become greater challenges. Through medical and behavioral interventions, the actions that could or are impeding treatment and rehabilitation are diminished.
