Wound Care Services

Nexus’ dedicated wound care team focuses on skin integrity, prioritizing the cleanliness of acute or chronic wounds that have previously resisted healing. Within 24 hours of admission, patients are assessed by a wound care clinician to ensure all wounds are identified in a timely manner and an individualized plan of care is developed.

Wound care protocols have been developed based upon evidenced-based medicine to ensure best practices are followed. Our program has even been nationally recognized with the Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint commission as well as recognized as Noteworthy by the DNV-GL.
