Nexus Children’s Hospital announces a new partnership with Pediatrix Medical Group, a MEDNAX company. Founded in 1979 as a single neonatology practice, Pediatrix has grown into a multi-specialty group. Nexus Health Systems’ President, Erin Cassidy, remarked that partnering with Pediatrix means greater continuity of care for pediatric patients in Texas. Pediatrix’s attending physicians augment the clinical team at Nexus Children’s Hospital, rounding on all patients and participating in weekly team conferences.
