Physical therapy that empowers children, adolescents, and adults to thrive
Learn how pediatric physical therapy services help patients recover from injury and illness
Going through a serious illness, injury, or surgery taxes the body — which is why physical therapy plays an important role in rehabilitation. Regaining strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and coordination requires patience and persistence, so it’s important to find skilled physical therapists who can support and help you or your loved one reach goals.
Offered both inpatient and outpatient, Nexus physical therapists develop rehabilitation plans specific to each patient’s needs because we’re rehabilitating bodies and mending minds.
What is physical therapy?
Developing skills and strengthening the body after a complex injury or illness is best done with the help of a team. Working in concert with occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, our physical therapy team helps contribute to a patient’s recovery journey. Improving mobility and strength helps with nearly all other activities of daily living, or ADLs, including food preparation, housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
