Nexus Neurorecovery Center is home to residents who experience complications of brain injury, including seizures and headaches, but also a facility for those with other neurological disorders including Guillain-Barré Syndrome, encephalitis, viral infections of the brain, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke.
Identifying parts of the brain that are affected by the injury or disorder is our team’s first step towards managing underlying neuropathology. Once recognized, Nexus neurologists can predict what brain functions and capacity will return and how long the recovery process could take.
At the point where a patient’s brain has healed in all ways possible, our medical team develops an individualized plan to teach residents compensatory strategies that allow them to adapt, be more productive, and lead a meaningful life.
We're sharing the success stories of our patients and residents. Learn about the milestones they reached and goals they achieved during their time with us.
